There's an overheating problem in SC2 that blizzard confirmed too, the menus in the games don't have a max fps cap, so the gfx card kicks into overdrive trying to give you the best output, maxing it at 100% which makes it heat up really quick.

no... it still happens, i cleaned it, updated my software and it still crashes randomly... I think i do need a stronger watt

NVidia's 9800 series glitches more so then Vista's OS sometimes. My brother bought one and had nothing but problems with it. It could be defective, I'd recommend trying a different video card (from another computer maybe?) then if that doesn't work, look for a higher power supply.

bullseye, its an overheating problem, check your temps when u play, attempt to keep them below 70c anything above that can harm your pc. a simple case mod can fix this, take off the cover and put a standard house fan on your pc and put that sucker on high, problem solved and no need to spend any money! ive had this problem before. easy way to make sure this is the actual problem and not a hardware issue, go to www.cpuid.com and download HWmonitor, the free version will do fine.

I have speedfan with SMART... its freeware as well and it helps monitor my temperatures.
